Sebastopol's Local Pasture Farm
Silva Star Farms is a small sustainable agriculture farm located three miles west of downtown Sebastopol, CA. We raise pasture eggs, poultry, pork, lamb, and goats milk. We purchase all of our feeds locally and when possible all of our supplies. Stay tuned as this site will grow with more information. About the Farmer Sarah Silva is the farmer and slave to the animals at Silva Star. Sarah grew up in Sonoma County and has been around animals and caring and raising them in some capacity all of her life. In 2007 Sarah decided to leave the well respected world of NASA Education and Public Outreach to spend time with her family and her animals. In May of 2008 Silva Star Farms was made official and we've been working hard ever since. Come and see us, we'd love to see you! |
Farm Location Silva Star has an interesting model, we are caretakeres of the land and the animals. As a result we constantly are farming and caring for new land parcels. We currently have our homesite on Burgandy Way in Sebastopol and care for 12 acres behind the beautiful Rose and Thorn gift shop around the corner. All farm visits are by appointment only, so pleaese email Sarah if you'd like to visit.
